The Merchtem Cats and Namur Angels both swept their respective two-game series last weekend to pull into a three-way tie with the Hoboken Pioneers for the Belgian League leadership with 3-1 records.
The Cats took two games against the Mortsel Stars last weekend, while the Angels swept the Borgerhout Squirrels. Hoboken split a two-game set with the defending champion Antwerp Greys in a rematch of last season’s final, suffering their first loss of 2009 by falling, 4-3, in the second game.
